Position Title: Procurement Executive / Manager - Asia Pacific



Reporting to: Procurement Manager – Asia Pacific
                             with a dotted line to Chief Financial Officer – Asia Pacific



Purpose of Role:  
This is a new role with future procurement role prospects for the successful candidate.


As a Procurement Executive – Asia Pacific, this role will support the Regional Procurement Manager in handling the procurement process for Services and Equipment for all Regus New Centre Openings (NCO) across the Asia Pacific region, primarily transactional activities such as requests for proposals (RFPs), bid evaluation, recommendations for NCO fit-outs, ordering of various commodities (e.g. office furniture, carpet, coffee machines, photocopiers, printers, video conference equipment…etc). This role will involve close liaison with NCO Project Management.


This role may from time to time be assigned tasks on region-wide purchasing issues, including standardizing commodities for Regus centres in APAC, consolidating suppliers for common items, and other cost-saving initiatives.



Key responsibilities:

  • Sourcing, coordination and order execution for Services and Equipment for all NCOs in accordance with Regus standards on procurement options, scope, risks, budgets, cost of delivery and timing, etc
  • Effective handling of supplier and contractor proposals and tenders
  • Leverage regional economies of scale to lower total cost of procurement activities
  • Ensure relevant procedures, tools, contracts and methodology are in line with statutory requirements



Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • A university degree in Business or Facilities Management
  • Professional qualification in quantity surveying preferred
  • At least three years of solid exposure to regional procurement function in a high growth environment
  • An analytical mind with business acumen and commercial efficiency
  • Effective communication, negotiation and networking techniques in spoken and written English
  • A strong sense of integrity and urgency
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Ability to manage several projects and to work under pressure
  • Well-presented, positive and friendly person with a can-do attitude
